SCHOLARSHIP WILL REOPEN JANUARY 1, 2017

Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung was the principal who died while trying to protect her Sandy Hook Elementary School Family. As a lifelong student, Dawn strove for excellence and encouraged those around her to do the same. Dawn gave her life to teaching, instilling a love of learning in all who knew her. CFSA and M & M Group Benefits, Inc. have established a scholarship fund in her honor. The scholarship will benefit pupils who care to proceed on her legacy of empowering our youth’s with insight and instruction. Below you will find two links 1) Application and 2) Rubric. Please access both links–doing so will  help you submit the best application possible.   This scholarship is open to high school seniors entering college and a student actively enrolled in their inaugural year in a higher education program, college/university or technical school. However, you must be directly related to one of CFSA’s members and have the recommendation of your their local’s president.Thank you for your continued interests.
