MODULE: NEGOTIATIONS 101

This training consists of a general overview of the negotiation process from A thru Z. Because it’s an overview, we will glaze over the entire process.  Helping you become more familiar with the jargon of negotiations and its terminology.

In negotiations, these are some terms that come up frequently:

Beginning with the following:

    1. Concessions
    2. Assumptions
    3. Deadlock
    4. Bargaining
    5. Escalation

Next, we will engage you in mock negotiations that allow you to role play. We conclude with discussions on negotiation best practices; followed by an in depth Q & A.

MODULE: NEGOTIATIONS 200 & 300

These two training modules consist of extensive training but not limited to the following modules listed below:

Beginning with the following:

    1. “Bump and Run”
    2. Creating Ground Rules
    3. Negotiation Team Meetings
    4. Meetings with the Board’s Negotiation Committee
    5. Using Caucuses
    6. Understanding Body Language: Passive/Aggressive
    7. Mini Mock Negotiation Sessions: Role Playing

Where the NEGOTIATIONS 101 training provides participants with a wide-ranging overview, NEGOTIATION 200 & 300 training provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the process, for example:
